”Born in India, Die in Tibet”

JJI Brothers stands as a preeminent Tibetan rock ensemble headquartered in Dharamshala, India. This musical group comprises three brothers, each represented by their initials in the acronym ‘JJI’. Their names are Jigme, Jamyang, and Ingsel, and they belong to the generation of Tibetan exiles born in India.

Their melodic compositions frequently encapsulate the profound struggles associated with statelessness and the hardships accompanying a life as refugees.

Regarded as avant-garde, JJI Brothers’ music amalgamates the entrancing rhythms reminiscent of The Doors with the compelling lyrical style akin to Rage Against the Machine. Critics have characterized their sound as a captivating fusion of these elements.

In addition to their artistic pursuits, the trio sustains themselves by operating a small café located in McLeod Ganj, Dharamsala.
